Independence day: Sullivan's Island


We went to Sullivan's Island while in Charleston, on both Saturday and Sunday. The island is across the Ravenel bridge, a suspension bridge which looks like this when you look up:


We parked in a residential area and walked a path to the beach through brush and bramble ...

And we came across strange runes in the sand which men, even to this day, are still trying to decipher. In fact we here at the Nunnery have several of our top scientists currently working round the clock in an effort to puzzle out the meaning of these glyphs. Top scientists.
