surprise surprise surprise

the heat is back on in the Nunnery, though my office was heatless this morning.

the university closed down this afternoon because of snow. insert joke about southerners here.

auditions were yesterday, the biggest audition day of the year. it was a strange event, at least for me. the whole clockwork was a little out of whack and things that have never been a problem before suddenly were. a constellation of odd happenings.

currently reading flannery o'connor on mark's recommendation. also (re)reading rosemary's baby by ira levin. L and i just finished his first novel, a kiss before dying.
