On the way to Mr. O's, we stopped into a liquor store where a scene from the Grand Film took place:

Vlindinhauer: (approaches counter majestically and pauses) I don't know... there's something about red wine at noon...
The only person in the room who is not a member of the Now Today Ensemble - a man waiting at the counter for a clerk to appear - gives Vlindinhauer a bemused look.
