More driving ...


this time to get from Salers ...


to the Midi Canal in the south of France ...


where our canal boat awaits us.


The drive ...


while long,


had much beauty ...


So much beauty.


Several miscalculations made during the so-called "planning" phase of the journey caused us to arrive at our destination once again much later than we had hoped.


We are arrived - after much creative navigation - and have found our boat waiting for us.

And a bonus: we made a friend of the local harbor-cat! You can see her sweet face in the photo below, looking in at us through the port window.


And now to organize things for four days on the boat. And then to bed, at long long last. We've had several neverending days in a row.
